When Andy Carpenter stumbles across a body in the history department, he finds himself in the middle of a murder investigation. With his best friend Maggie McLendon, he tries to figure out who the killer is, while also working out his feelings for Rob Hayward, an old friend who has suddenly reappeared in his life.
