Mara Bishop is a shamanic practitioner, intuitive consultant, teacher, author, and artist.

She has a thriving practice working with clients from the US and internationally. Mara devotes significant time to training new practitioners in her Personal Evolution Counseling™ method, which combines the methods she uses with clients to provide an integrated approach to spiritual healing, personal growth, and emotional well-being.

Mara is the author of Inner Divinity: Crafting Your Life with Sacred Intelligence© and the companion series of guided meditations, and Shamanism for Every Day: 365 Journeys© (2021 Kensington Publishing).

Mara has worked in the fields of intuition and shamanism since 1995. Her training includes:

• Energy Medicine and Theology (Programs created by Dr. Norman Shealy, Founder of the American Holistic Medical Assn)

Mara presents regularly at institutions such The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Medical Center, Duke University, and the Rhine Research Center, among other groups. She teaches workshops on shamanic journeying, intuition, spiritual healing and many of the topics covered in Inner Divinity©. Mara has also been authorized by Sandra Ingerman to teach Soul Retrieval, Extraction, Death and Dying, Medicine for the Earth, and Healing with Spiritual Light.
