Cathy Liggett is a tea drinker herself—prefers it hot, herbal, and decaffeinated. She is also the author of a non-fiction book on the music industry, and has a background in advertising copywriting, and social expression writing.

She lives outside of Cincinnati with her husband and their teenaged son and college-aged daughter.
