Once upon a time, many years ago, following an unusual act of kindness by a demon high lord, the small town of Mysteria was created in a lovely valley in the Rocky Mountains not far from Denver. Instead of destroying the traveling group of rag-tag magical outcasts and misfits (and one confused human), the demon provided a mystical haven that soon became a refuge for all types of creatures not accepted by society. Here are just four stories of some of those current inhabitants.

MORTAL IN MYSTERIA by Susan Grant -- With no one attending church services, Harmony Faithfull, the new minister in town, prays for a sign that she's chosen the right path. She certainly never expected the answer to be in the form of a gorgeous naked man in her garden. Kicked out by the Devil for his random acts of kindness, this demon high lord has been banished to the scene of his first transgression --Mysteria -- and made mortal. But this doesn't seem such a bad fate when he meets Harmony and gets to know her and the rest of the town.

ALONE WOLF by MaryJanice Davidson -- Not knowing why, werewolf Cole Jones has followed his nose to a lovely little haunted house just outside Mysteria. He loves the peace and quiet and the welcoming smells, even though the resident ghost can be a pest. Then he meets Charlene Houtenan, the juicy realtor handling the sale of the house, and he knows why he's come here. After so many years of not fitting into society, he's found his place. But Charlene isn't quite what she appears to be, and she has an ulterior motive in seducing Cole, which doesn't prove that hard to accomplish.

THE WITCHES OF MYSTERIA & THE DEAD WHO LOVE THEM by Gena Showalter -- For several years, witch Genevieve Tawdry has had a bad case of hot lust for Hunter Knight, but just when she thinks she has him, he rebuffs her. This unrequited love has Genevieve trying everything she can to lure him in, but Hunter is a psychic and knows that declaring his love for this witch will be the death of him, literally. When he can no longer refuse and finally succumbs to Genevieve's advances, Hunter pays the ultimate price. But will the results really be as bad as he thinks?

CANDY COX & THE BIG BAD (WERE)WOLF by P. C. Cast -- After several failed marriages, schoolteacher Candice Cox has sworn off men and romance. Then one of her former students -- a very hot and sexy werewolf named Justin Woods -- who's now an adult, re-enters her life and makes her wonder if all she really needs is a younger man to make her juices flow hot and heavy.

Advertised as Desperate Housewives meets Charmed, this collection of novellas is as varied in its content as the authors who've written them. From sweet and passionate to dark and sexy, the werewolves, vampires, demons, witches, fairies and humans of MYSTERIA are as engaging and fun as they are diverse and compelling.

Book Summary

Hunky werewolves, delicious demons and, drop-dead sexy witches all have the same address...

Hundreds of years ago, in the mountains of Colorado (just close enough to Denver for great shoe shopping), the small town of Mysteria was "accidentally" founded by a random act of demonic kindness. Over time, it has become a veritable magnet for the supernatural - a place where magic has quietly coexisted with the mundane world.

It's a town like any other town, where the high school's Fighting Fairies give fans something to cheer about, where everyone knows your name - if not exactly what you are - at the local bar, and where the wishing well actually lives up to its name. Strange occurrences happen every day, but now the ladies of Mysteria are about to unleash a tempest of seduction that will have tongues wagging for centuries to come...
