The citizens of Covington, North Carolina, are back with many life-changing events. First, there's the marriage of Max and Hannah, who've known each other for years and are finally taking the nuptial plunge. Also, Bob is moving into a cottage next to Grace, which makes them both wonder how his close proximity will affect their relationship. Then we have Amelia, who's beginning to feel like the odd one out with both of her roommates, Grace and Hannah, occupied with the special men in their lives.

On a darker side, Bob's son Russell and his family are going through a difficult time. Russell's second wife, Emily, who's an attorney, is receiving threats because of a case she's trying. Their marriage is also very strained because her workaholic behavior leaves Russell to deal with a very uncontrollable three-year-old daughter and a resentful teenage son. Will they discover who's behind the threats and is this marriage strong enough to survive?

TWO DAYS AFTER THE WEDDING is the sixth charming and cozy addition to the Ladies of Covington series. It's a pleasant and easy-going story with just enough mystery and intrigue to keep the pages turning. I look forward to reading more from this series.
