Bryan Gruley's PURGATORY BAY is really a great mystery. Gruley tells the story of a lost girl, where almost her whole family is taken away from her. This book also goes back and forth from present to past. Gruley fills in everything, so you don’t get confused; you just get the back story on all the people involved. I also really like all the twists and turns that Gruley has in this novel. PURGATORY BAY is a compelling read.
