I love cozy mysteries that focus on crafting so I couldn’t wait to dive into LAST PEN STANDING! Vivian Conroy did not disappoint as I have fallen in love with the whole idea of the "Paper Posse" and the various outlaw names each member has chosen as their pseudonym. Delta is a strong heroine and I love her loyalty to Hazel. I’m curious to know more about Jonas Nord and his history. However, I have to admit it’s his dog Spud that I’ve fallen in love with and can’t wait to see again.

LAST PEN STANDING is the first book in the Stationery Shop Mystery series and wow, what a fun start! I look forward to further crafting events with Delta, Hazel, and the rest of the Paper Posse gang. Vivian Conroy crafts a well-written and engaging mystery populated with some quirky and oh so endearing characters (particularly the members of the Paper Posse) and I can’t wait to see what is in store for them next.
