Some characters are loved while others are complete outcasts. The setting is unlike any other as Estep writes a vividly descriptive picture making it easy to close your eyes and see exactly what the characters are seeing making it the ideal backdrop for a story that is sure to pull you in.

SPARTAN HEART is a heart pounding and thought provoking read that will have you impatiently turning pages trying to figure out what will happen next. A book that was hard to put down, but easy to get lost in. I enjoyed reading this young adult novel that has all the makings of a great read.
