This is the first of a new series "Redemption Harbor" by Katie Reus and I have to say it is an amazing, adrenaline rush of a start. Some romantic suspense books have too much romance and not enough suspense or action, others have too much action and suspense and not enough romance, but to me, RESURRECTION by Ms. Reus is a perfect blend. Colt and Skye are an amazing couple and I enjoyed getting to know them as they worked to remove the danger to themselves and the country. The secondary characters, who consist of the Redemption group and, of course, various bad guys they deal with, are amazing and realistic. Even the bad guys seemed a little too real and scary. The dialogue and action will keep you glued to the pages.

I got a big kick out of the quotes at the beginning of each chapter, especially the one about the body, friend, and the shovel. I couldn't help but laugh at that one, but the others are tidbits of sentimental sayings that fit each chapter perfectly. I have a personal love for books that involve teams that feel more like family than some families and this group has that going for them. Can't wait to learn more about each of them and get their stories. I also just loved the way Colt made sure the problem that came between him and Skye would never rear its head again. Nope, sorry, you have to read this awesome book to get the answer to that one.
