The author, Craig Parshall, has a dynamic hit here and it is hard to put down. For all those who love suspense, you will love this novel by Parshall. He just seems to keep giving the main character more and more obstacles leaving you wondering how this will all end! I love mysteries that keep me asking what could be next.

Trevor Black is a successful defense lawyer with a beautiful wife. One day his whole life is turned upside down. He is able to feel the presence of supernatural forces after coming in contact with some as a youth. Now these forces are haunting him as he deals with the murder of a hometown friend. This murder seems familiar, as he has come across this before. He has to find out how they are related before it is too late and what it all has to do with him.

This incredible novel will leave you speechless with each turn of the page. Even though it's fiction, THE OCCUPIED written by Craig Parshall reminded me to never play with evil forces. You never know what might be out there to haunt you later, though this is not the meaning of the storyline. This has the potential to be the beginning of many more books of Trevor Black! He is a man that the authorities will rely on to help solve the supernatural cases that only he has the insight to understand.
