Andrea takes her two children and moves to a little town called Haven Point. Marshall is a sheriff and friends with her new best friend Wyn. Marshall suffered a broken leg in a hit-and-run so Wyn asks Andrea to look after him while she is out of town.

Marshall is not the happiest camper in the world. Marshall can't stand sitting around doing nothing. The first time Andrea goes over to check in on him she receives a rude welcome. Marshall is not used to having people care for him.

Marshall has a lot of his own problems. He has no idea who tried to run him down, and after sixteen years the son he signed away rights for moves in next door with his grandparents. Marshall's weekend-long affair with an engaged woman results in such dramatic challenges that he happily signed away rights to make it go away. Of course, time makes anyone question the decisions of their youth.

These two have a lot of problems to overlook. But the spark between them is undeniable, even if they both wish it was easy to forget. When snowfall on Haven Point, will they give in?

RaeAnne Thayne's Haven Point series is addictive. I can't wait to read the next one in the series. I really enjoy that Raenne brings former characters into her series, it's like checking in with an old friend. Thayne goes to great lengths to service fans and introduce new readers to her charming characters.

Thayne puts you right into this small town. I always feel like I am one of the characters in the book. I picture myself going to the town's winter parade, watching the boats on the lake, and being part of this small town. I'm already wondering who the next couple will be as I patiently await their story.
