Now Lucas has a job to do and the carpenter working on the cabin with him couldn't be happier to get rid of him for a while. As Lucas begins to search for an assassin most people don't think exist, he realizes time for the attack is getting closer and he better hurry up and find the people that made the threats.

As a big fan of John Sanford and his characters it's good to see Lucas Davenport back and working a case. Lucas chasing a possible assassin on a deadline makes for an exciting story. Non-stop action and watching how he works a case is intriguing. Some of your other favorite characters are mentioned but this is a Davenport case all the way and about time.

Great mystery, filled with action and interesting characters. Definitely fits in with what's happening today during our own presidential campaign. With the exception of someone trying to kill the candidates, that is. The most shocking part is the end, I can't tell you what happens but your mouth will drop open. More importantly the ending leaves Davenport with a new and great opportunity.

If you love mystery and thrillers you should put EXTREME PREY on the top of your list. John Sanford delivers us a new and exciting Lucas Davenport story for all his old fans and gives an opportunity for new ones.
