LOVE WALKS IN, is Book 2 in the Shaughnessy Brothers series by Samantha Chase. Ian and Lillian Shaughnessy who have Irish origins were a loving couple based in North Carolina and had six kids. Lillian's untimely death deeply affects her husband and each of her six children in different ways. This story is of her second oldest child Hugh who I would say is affected a bit more than the rest of his siblings. Hugh's life changes once again as love walks in his life in the beautiful, vivacious form of Aubrey Burke.

Audrey's sudden and attractive entry in Hugh's life sets off a chain of events which leaves him a bit shaken and confused and way out of his comfort zone. As Audrey stays on way after her welcome period courtesy of Hugh the attraction between them is spunky which equally surprises both of them. Together as they explore their attraction and help out each other professionally, their inner demons stick out as sore thumbs. They both realize this and try to deal with things stopping them to fully enjoy each other's company and love.

Hugh is an interesting hunk of masculine Irishness, he is as hot as he is stubborn in his set ways a bit rigid you may say and Aubrey on the other hand is like sunshine, she may be a bit scorched by her past but overcomes it most of the time. As the past catches up with Hugh and Aubrey things come to a head and the inevitable separation happens. It's a warm and fuzzy story of two beautiful, strong people who are somewhat like love lost puppies come together, separate and find their way back to each other all inspired and motivated by love. Besides love there is a strong and unwavering presence of family in the story and inevitable you will glimpse into the lives of Hugh's siblings who are equally hot and sexy.

LOVE WALKS IN is the first story I have read by author Samantha Chase and given that she only started publishing her stories in 2011, it doesn't feel like she has been in the business for a short time. I have always enjoyed reading family sagas and this one was too good and definitely upped my curiosity to explore more of the Shaughnessy family especially of Riley, one of Hugh's younger brother who is in the music business. You should definitely pick up the Shaughnessy brothers series family if you are looking to explore the loves and lives of a new family.
