Led by an inexperienced tour guide, the haphazard trip progresses, but nothing seems to go according to plan for this unusual bunch of people. Things really get weird when two coffins show up in the chapel at Auchnagar, and no one knows why they're there. When the dead body of a man from their group is found inside one of the coffins, everyone is upset. But after a dead body in the second coffin is discovered later, things go from bad to worse. Will MacLaren be able to assist the police in learning the identity of the murderer among them before another dead body turns up -- maybe even her own!?
This cozy mystery was a totally enjoyable reading experience. Not only are all the characters well-developed, but vivid descriptions had me feeling like I was in the Highlands on that old bus along with everyone else. Great addition to this charming series.
