Emma is planning to visit home in Florida to attend her school reunion. Her kinky mother and her "girls" have a book club that just isn't right! Instead of the motherly reads they have their drinks and check out Shades of Grey to keep them going. Her mother, Katrina "Kat" is always trying to fix her up, so she has a plan to bring her own date. She has learned from a friend and co-worker that Brant was "Mr. December" in a college calendar. Wow was he hot, and this is the coercion she needs. Being reluctantly blackmailed into going, he certainly doesn't know this will be a trip to remember. Having a root canal hours before Emma is boarding the plane, and taking a bunch of painkillers, everyone in this plane will never forget. Potty mouth talking, losing her silk blouse down the plane's toilet (coming out in Brant's t-shirt) and Brant caught in the bathroom with her trying to help, makes this trip memorable. That doesn't even mention the drug-sniffing dog finding loose pills stuck to her pink vibrator without a prescription and Grant carrying the bag. Being forced to share a room at her parents home, things begin to get a little more than interesting, and this foxy guy gives hot sex through the roof. Spending some time together seals the deal and both are beginning to re- evaluate their feelings. That is, until the ex- girlfriend, Alexia, shows up.

I have read every book I can get my hands on by this author. Sydney Landon has the greatest ability to write a cute and absolutely hilarious read. Chuckles, outright laughing and tears are the usual when one of her books is picked up. I have to fight myself to put it down to go to bed and always pick it up first thing again in the morning. Do not miss NO DENYING YOU. A terrific read!
