Isadora is also in possession of the Star of Bacwyr, a star sapphire of magical qualities, sought after by Lucan, of the Circle of Bacwyr. But when Lucan comes to the Emperor's palace in search of the Star, he discovers Isadora has it and though he detests witches, Lucan must do whatever he can to win her over until she relinquishes it to him.

Then the Emperor learns of the twins. Isadora is thrown into prison and no longer has the sapphire. Now Lucan must decide which star he really wants -- the sapphire or Isadora, The Star Witch. Unfortunately, the three sisters have a curse placed on their family that will mean the death of Lucan if Isadora falls in love with him.

THE STAR WITCH is the third in the Sisters of the Sun trilogy. I loved the characters, the medieval setting was believable and there was plenty of action. Emperor Sebestyen is the character you love to hate, and the way Ms. Jones weaves the stories together brings the entire tale to a happy and satisfying finale. The appearance of the other two sisters was inspired and true to the original storyline. I liked this book very much -- a good read.
