Several shapeshifters are passing for human and living in Hollywood. In this book, HAVE MONSTER WILL TRAVEL the fourth in the Monsters in Hollywood series, they intend to make a film about themselves, gradually introducing human audiences to the concept of monsters being around and friendly. Ultimately they hope to reveal their true nature.
This story introduces a new character, Jo, a human film artist, who is brought on board to be the movie's production designer. The author uses her presence in the story to serve the role of uninformed reader. She is often startled and frightened as she is introduced to the monsters; matters have to be explained to her.
Two of the monsters are black demons, one is an angel, and one is a blue dragon. The team needs a stunt coordinator for fights and falls, and they decide to send for a fighting master from China, Tokaki. This man's alter ego is the white tiger and he is used to living in a mountain retreat safe from human eyes but with satellite television. In no time he wants to explore what a human body could do with and to Jo, who is attracted to him but doesn't hesitate to show what a woman can do to a man who disrespects her.
HAVE MONSTER WILL TRAVEL is a fun read, with just enough action to keep the pace up while the shape-changes keep us off balance and the origins of the monster folk are explored. This story will probably be best enjoyed by fans of the first books in the series; though it is a good standalone story, once you get over being thrown in at the deep end.

In order to save the woman he loves, Tokaki must turn to his family for help, risking the secrets his clan has kept for a millennium.
Warning: This title contains an artistic woman, a demanding warrior, and sexy misuse of temple grounds.
