When readers meet Tempest this time around, she is longingly staring at her old house on land. Tempest made the decision to help her clan in the ocean and remain a mermaid, but her regrets run deep. She has made a best friend already, Mahina, and appears to be in love with Kona, a Selkie Prince. However, Tempest has only adjusted to a certain point, she cannot forget Mark, her old boyfriend, or her family on land.

Tempest knows Tiamat, the sea witch, will come back for her for a final fight soon. She trains with Sabyn, a mysterious new merman on the scene...one she doesn't fully trust and Kona loathes. Hailina, the MerQueen is as lovely *cough* in personality as ever. TEMPEST UNLEASHED follows Tempest's tempestuous nature as she vacillates between the land and sea. Her choice is made even harder when her younger brother is harmed by Tiamat. Her being there for her brother puts her close to Mark. She must end this love triangle and decide before she hurts either boy.

The plot itself is nothing new, but Ms. Deebs carries the story very well. TEMPEST UNLEASHED is well-written and filled with detail about both Tempest's life on land as well as her life under the sea.

Readers will enjoy Tempest, she is an easy character to like and sympathize with. Her two love interests will have you picking sides.

Fans of Ms. Deebs previous book Tempest Rising will not want to miss TEMPEST UNLEASHED.
