The fifth in Mr. Christopher's Templar series, RED TEMPLAR is an action-packed, engrossing book. John "Doc" Holliday is planning to return to the US after a close brush with death in Africa. Instead, he is met by a Russian who tells him of another Templar sword, companion to the one that John owns.

John and his friend, Eddie, will follow Genrikhovich, from Turkey to Bulgaria, to the heart of Moscow in their efforts to find a mysterious treasure. They will have to evade assassins as they learn ever more about the power wielded by the Knights Templar and the fortune that they control.

I'm a big fan of Paul Christopher's writing. His plots are so intricately woven that the reader is swept away. The tension level in his books is high and there is constant danger for the characters. This is not just a rehash of the Knights Templar legend. Mr. Christopher has constructed a conspiracy that reaches to the highest levels of governments and the financial power brokers. I highly recommend RED TEMPLAR and the series as a whole.

Book Summary

Genrikhovich claims to know of a long-lost sword called Aos-the companion to Holliday's own Templar sword. Holliday quickly finds himself on a flight to Turkey, where he begins following a trail that will lead him to the dark heart of Russia-where the ancient Templar Order has secretly wielded power for centuries...
