Delilah Marvelle's regency take on the rich guy/poor girl theme will be a surefire hit with readers. FOREVER AND A DAY is a Cinderella story that takes place not in a palace during a ball but in the slums of New York, surrounded by thieves and average working class people. This is a refreshing tale that takes us away from London and the ton and puts more emphasis on the characters rather than the society around them and their expectations. I fell in love with Ms. Marvelle's new Rumor series when I read the prequel novella, Forever Mine. FOREVER AND A DAY was a worthy first novel for the series and I can't wait to read the others as they get published. If I did have to say something that I was left disappointed in, it would be that the heroine from Forever Mine is no longer alive and the hero seems to have become a bit of a stuffy bore in FOREVER AND A DAY. My favorite part though was the ending, which I will not giveaway. For that, you'll just have to go pick up your own copy. Happy reading!
