Sixteen year old Molly McGarry thought it was really weird when she was able to be inside her boyfriend, Gideon Rayburn's, head. But it turned out to be so helpful to her relationship with him that she adapted and learned to live with it. In fact, the only thing that's keeping her from having sex with Gid is that she's certain her stomach is too fat for him to see her naked. This is all in her mind but that's ok with Molly because as long as Pilar believes she's fat, Molly doesn't have to deal with Gideon and Pilar having sex while she's still in Pilar's head.

Then, there's the fact that Molly's been asked to join the Academic Tete-a-Tete, or ATAT. She really doesn't need, or want, to have her every waking minute taken up with practicing for this, but she so needs the full college scholarship that winning will provide her. Also, being on the team may just be what will help her win her best friend back.
