In Juliana Tiades time, over 100 years ago, life was simple and carefree. She was in love with a beautiful man, knowing marriage was their next step. Then the unthinkable happened when he showed a side of himself she had never known existed. Then Juliana was taken into a wild hurricane to die without letting her inform Aristos Petrakos how she really felt about him. After 100 years of wandering the streets of Savannah as a spirit, Juliana finally finds someone who can convince Ari to come back to her. Their reunion is not what Juliana expects, but when Mason Angel believes Juliana is a demon out to destroy the Gods, she becomes marked for death.
This story isn't as exciting or action-packed throughout as previous stories have been in this series, but it does have a few side stories that are worth the read. This may not be my favorite, but I absolutely love the series itself.
Book Summary
Having recently assumed the power over life and death for the immortal Spartan brotherhood. Aristos Petrakos still hasn't mastered his unpredictable abilities. Now a medium brings him a message from the other side-a romantic message Ari doesn't want to hear.
More than a century ago, the love of Ari's immortal life, Juliana Tiades, drowned in the Savannah River after she learned about Ari's shape-shifting abilities. Desperate to reveal the truth about her death, Juliana makes a bargain with a Djinn demon who offers to give her phiscal form. But as Juliana and Ari are reunited in passion, the debt must be paid-in souls and spirits.
