Following Camille D'Artigo's vantage point can be exhausting, as she has three lovers, an active devotion to the Moon Mother, responsibilities to many magical beings on this plane, as well as Otherworld, wields the Black Unicorn's horn, and is learning death magic on the side. Warned to be circumspect about the many responsibilities and opportunities to which she cannot say "no," Camille has to put on a brave face and finds herself constantly crossing personal barriers in order to help her friends and save the worlds...as usual.

One might think, by the seventh Otherworld novel, Yasmine Galenorn might run out of ideas. However, in BONE MAGIC, the conflict just keeps building. An intricate blend of metaphysics and old-fashioned physicality, BONE MAGIC makes excellent use of exposition to keep readers abreast of the importance of the extensive cast of characters.
