Starr Ambrose snagged me with her debut, LIE TO ME. Eleanor's commitment to prove her best friend's husband murdered her, Jack's desire to get to know his daughter and be the best dad he can, as well as the hot passion between Eleanor and Jack, kept me turning the pages. Steamy it is! This romantic suspense is sure to please.

Book Summary

Eleanor Coggins is certain Banner Westfield killed her best friend. When she sneaks into his home in search of proof, she finds Jack Payton, the black sheep of the family, instead. Recognizing that he has the power to expose her, jack uses the bungled break-in to his advantage and convinces Eleanor to pose as his fiancee.

The ruse allows them to get what they each want. Jack, recently released from prison, hopes a fiancee will make him appear more respectable and help him win custody of his daughter; Ellie will gain access to the Westfield mansion -- and Banner's files.
