When a second and then a third member of the family end up murdered, Paterno cannot deny any connection between the murders. What is the motive? Could Cissy be murdering her relatives? She is the common link, and she is under surveillance, but it is a possibility. He comes up with more questions than he has answers. After all, what does anyone but family have to gain from these deaths?

Lisa Jackson has crafted another fantastic spine-tingling thriller. Her novels are wonderful and multifaceted. I like that she tells the story through numerous points of view and brings them all together for a stunning conclusion. I enjoyed this book and found the Cahill family fascinating if not a bit disturbing. ALMOST DEAD is another brilliant novel with many twists and turns. I highly recommend anything written by Lisa Jackson, and ALMOST DEAD is a good book to choose.
