Wes concentrated on getting his camera set up for the shoot. He fought the image of water streaming down Lynn’s pale skin, beading off her nipples and running into the dark hair between her slender thighs. What if she didn’t even have pubic hair? "Is it always so c-cold in here?"

Wes swung around to find a pink-faced Lynn behind him. The robe swallowed her from chin to mid-calf, but she was barefoot and shivering. She’d knotted her dark hair haphazardly on her head so only a few wet tendrils clung to her neck. Wes was momentarily distracted by how the darker tips stuck to her moist skin. He licked his lips unconsciously and Lynn cleared her throat.

"Um...Wes?"

"Hmm?"

"Do you have slippers or socks...something for my feet?"

He came back to himself with a start, moving his gaze from her neck to her feet, which were a slight shade of blue.

"Oh! Yeah. Sorry, sweetheart. Just give me a second."

Without thought he grabbed her around the waist and lifted her into his arms, carrying her to the pillow-covered carpet. She said nothing as he gently set her on the largest pillow and walked away.

"I’ll grab a towel to warm your feet until I’m ready."

He walked into the bathroom before she could respond and headed for the towel warmer. He paused and took a deep breath, releasing it slowly as the tension left his shoulders. What was he thinking? Calling her sweetheart was bad enough, but touching her? Picking her up and carrying her? He was obviously a glutton for punishment because keeping his hands to himself was the only way to keep this on a professional level. He pulled two small towels from the warmer and went back to face Lynn, praying he could keep his cool all afternoon.

Setting up the scene took no time at all because the background wasn’t important. Most shots would be very close up and only Lynn’s beautiful body would fill the frame. He was as honest as he could be with her, knowing it would be all she’d accept.

"I’m just a man, sweetheart, and you’re a beautiful woman. I’m going to have the natural reaction any man would have. Seeing you in a robe already has me hard, so once you drop it that’s not going to change, okay?"

She nodded as her gaze dropped to his crotch. He hardened further and wanted to cry "uncle" when she licked her lips nervously.

"All right, Lynn. Whenever you’re ready, you can take the robe off and just get comfortable."

She bit her lip and he wanted to scream in frustration. He’d made keeping his cool an art form after being around beautiful models the past few years. It took all his will to act nonchalant as Lynn stood unsteadily and slowly untied the sash around her small waist. She let the robe fall open but made no move to pull it off. Her gaze darted to his and he lifted one brow in question. She licked her lips and he fought not to react to the carnal images that simple act evoked.

"Um...Wes?"

"Yes, Lynn?"

"W-Would you mind standing...over there?"

She gestured toward the camera a few feet away from her spot on the rug. He had no desire to step away from her but knew gaining her trust was a hell of a lot more important than his desires.

He turned his back on her irresistible form and strolled over to his camera as if he had all the time in the world. The minutes were ticking by and he could almost hear them, but handling Lynn with kid gloves was important at this stage in the game.
